The HIMSS16 conference is wrapped up and in the books, and it was certainly one for the ages; Talix has exhibited at HIMSS for three years now, and this year was better than the last two combined. Now, after a very successful week in Las Vegas, Talix is turning our attention to Nashville, home of the 10th Annual RISE Nashville Summit. This year’s conference, which runs from March 20 – 22, will be held at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center. It’s a relatively small but mighty conference and is one of the most comprehensive learning events for Medicare Advantage plan, Commercial plan and provider group senior leaders dedicated to Quality Improvement, Risk Adjustment, Analytics and Care Management initiatives.

We will be showing our core product, Coding InSight, at Talix booth 72 in the exhibition area. Coding InSight improves coder productivity and coding accuracy for Medicare Advantage and Commercial Exchange plans by uncovering missed HCC conditions and documentation gaps through automated patient data analysis. If you’re going to be kicking up your boot heels at RISE, stop by our booth to see a live demo of Coding InSight in action.

Francis Cheung, chief information officer of our newest provider customer, accountable care organization (ACO) Crystal Run Healthcare, will be presenting at RISE alongside Talix’s own chief strategy officer, Murray Brozinsky. Their session, “How an ACO is Mitigating Risk Adjustment Challenges with Targeted Strategies,” will examine the challenges that many provider organizations and ACOs are facing with accurate coding around risk-based contracts, as well as provide strategies to leverage data analytics at the point of care to optimize risk scoring to improve care and achieve more accurate reimbursement. Using Crystal Run Healthcare as a case study, they will look at specific risk adjustment challenges adopted by the organization, the tools and strategies it is implementing to address these challenges, and the results they have seen so far. The session will take place on Monday, March 21, 1:10pm-1:55pm in the Ryman Ballroom at the Gaylord Opryland Convention Center. All registered conference attendees are welcome to attend the session – we think it’s going to be a good one!

As in years past, the 2016 RISE Nashville Summit promises to be a whirlwind event, jam-packed with panel discussions, case studies, expert-led presentations, and roundtables presenting the latest technologies and strategies for optimizing risk adjustment, quality performance and data management. We can’t wait and we look forward to seeing you there!
