The 2016 HIMSS Annual Conference is underway! We’re at the Las Vegas Sands Expo and Convention Center along with more than 40,000 others from the health IT world. And, as if all the HIMSS16-related excitement weren’t enough, we also had some big news to share.

We launched Talix last October with the wind at our back and our Coding InSight app already in market and gaining steam. Since then, our momentum has continued and today we proudly announced that Crystal Run Healthcare has joined our growing customer base. The New York-based multi-specialty group practice and ACO has implemented Coding InSight to help automate risk adjustment processes, improve patient risk scoring and meet quality performance benchmarks. With Coding Insight, Crystal Run Healthcare’s clinicians can quickly identify and close missed coding opportunities at the point of care, both prospectively and in real time. Additionally, their professional coding staff will be able to more efficiently perform chart reviews and audits retrospectively.

We also announced exciting new partnerships with health IT leaders NextGen HealthcareAllscripts and Capstone Performance Systems to make the Coding InSight app available to customers through the companies’ respective application portfolios. With the Coding InSight integration, customers using NextGen, Allscripts and Capstone systems and services will be able to easily integrate risk adjustment processes for patients in Medicare Advantage and Commercial Exchange plans at the point of care, allowing providers to identify and close coding gaps so they can better manage patient risk, deliver improved care planning, and more successfully manage risk-based reimbursements.

We founded Talix with the mission to make the people of the world healthier through the power of information. These announcements mark another step forward along that path, and we’re working hard every day to continue our momentum. If you’re at HIMSS16 and want to see what Coding InSight can do, be sure stop by Talix Booth 10925 to see a demo or catch one of our daily booth presentations.
