As Chief Technology Officer for Talix, Niraj Katwala is an accomplished software professional with more than 20 years of experience in the technology and healthcare industries.
Prior to Talix, Niraj served as the CTO of Healthline, which was formerly the parent company of Talix. He was also a founding member and Vice President of Engineering of Entigen Corporation, where he led the development of a search platform for bioinformatics databanks. Previous to that, Niraj managed critical new product initiatives in Charles Schwab’s electronic brokerage and retail business units, serving more than seven million users online. Earlier in his career, he was a principal for Technology Solutions Company, a management consulting firm. His clients included Fortune 500 healthcare and product organizations, such as Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, Benckiser International, Pepsi-Cola Corporation, and Digital Equipment Corporation.
Niraj holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees in Electrical Engineering from M.S. University in India.
As Vice President of Risk Adjustment and Quality for Talix, Marilyn Garry is an expert on Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and Commercial Risk Adjustment models. Her expertise includes Risk Adjustment, STAR, HEDIS, care coordination, Fraud, Waste and Abuse, and implementing best practices in these specialty fields.
Marilyn has over 30 years of experience in leadership roles at both well-established and start-up ventures, where she has developed programs that drive growth, profitability, and success. Her wide range of project experience includes creating policies and procedures, developing data mining processes, designing and implementing business process enhancements, integrating emerging technologies and executing strategic initiatives. She has worked at various healthcare organizations, including Health Spring, Anthem, Amerigroup and Optum, in addition to working for the federal and state sectors.
Marilyn holds a Registered Nurse degree from Tennessee State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration and Healthcare Management from the University of Phoenix. She is also a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) and Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC), among other certifications.
